FRENCH BEAN SUBZI

  • 1 bag frozen cut French beans
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 tablespoon whole cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger (fresh or dried) finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom
  • 1-2 cloves
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste

Saute the onions, ginger, and whole cumin seeds until the onion turn brown. Add the French beans and spices. Add a little more oil to cook the beans. Cook on medium to low heat for approximately 20 minutes.
